Advanced Orthopaedic Specialists (Fayetteville, AR) has an immediate opening to add an additional BC/BE Primary Care Sports Medicine Provider to our growing sports medicine practice. Provider would work alongside our sports medicine orthopaedic surgeons as well as our established Primary Care Sports Medicine physicians and experienced orthopaedic mid-level providers. Our practice is dedicated to the outpatient care of Primary Care/Sports Medicine care that will be assisting in care of the University of Arkansas collegiate (D1), local scholastic and community sports teams and will have a collaborative multidisciplinary team of athletic trainers, orthopaedists, and physical therapists. Advanced Orthopaedic Specialists is the official Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic provider for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks and the practice would include care of the division 1 athlete.
Evaluation and management of concussive injuries would be a focus of the practice. Practice to include treatment of primary care disorders in the athlete including but not limited to Asthma, ADHD, and Diabetes management. Candidate would become privileged at Northwest Physician's Specialty Hospital which serves a focus of orthopaedic and neurosurgical treatment. Candidate would be involved with established sports medicine fellowship training in association with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Candidate must be BC/BE in either Family Practice or Internal Medicine and must be fellowship trained in Sports Medicine with previous experience in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound.
