This Medical Director role is a dynamic position for a growing orthopaedic quick care service line in the Northeast Ohio region. Reporting to the Physician Director of Ancillary Services, the Medical Director of Quick Care is responsible for oversight and management of the delivery of high quality, compassionate, cost effective healthcare in the Quick Care Clinic, which provides episodic and urgent Orthopaedic Muscular-Skeletal, plastics and reconstructive care to patients on a walk-in basis. In collaboration with the Physician Director of Ancillary Services, the Director of Ambulatory Clinics, and the Quick Care Director, the Medical Director sets the vision and goals for the Quick Care Department/s at Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center. The Medical Director oversees the quality of provider work, ensuring adherence to the protocols of CCOC and accepted standards of Orthopaedic and Plastics care.
Current and valid state of Ohio medical license required
Board certified in at least one of the following: Primary Care Sports Medicine; Orthopaedic Surgery; combined Orthopaedic-Pediatrics, Physiatrist or Emergency Medicine.
Substantive professional experience in clinical management, managed care quick care quality improvement, supervision and clinical protocol development preferred but not required.
Current BLS/ACLS certification.
