University Physician – Sports Medicine Specialist – The University of Oregon is offering an opportunity for a Physician to join the medical staff of the University Health Center (UHC). The medical staff consists of approximately 20 providers which includes primary care physicians, nurse practitioners and mental health providers. In addition, the individual may work one day a week in UO Athletics.
The UHC is a nationally accredited (AAAHC) outpatient clinic providing primary care to students. In addition to primary care services, the UHC offers specialty services in travel medicine, women’s health, sports medicine, and endocrinology. Laboratory, psychiatry, x-ray, physical therapy/sports medicine, dental, health promotion, and pharmacy services are all available on-site.

The surrounding area has numerous wineries and hiking trails in the adjacent hills and regional parks. Eugene is close to the Cascades, as well as non-crowded beautiful Oregon beaches and rugged coastline. We are two hours south of Portland.
There are a multitude of sporting events that occur year round, which includes Oregon Ducks football, basketball, and baseball teams, track and field events, the Eugene Emeralds minor league baseball team, as well as many others.
