UMass Memorial Health Care and the University of Massachusetts Medical School have an exciting new opportunity for a Family Medicine/Sports Medicine Physician. This faculty position is split between HealthAlliance Fitchburg Family Practice, UMass Memorial Sports Medicine Center, and the Sports Medicine Clinic at HealthAlliance Hospital- Clinton.
HealthAlliance Fitchburg Family Practice is a UMass Family Medicine residency teaching site. Faculty practice full spectrum family medicine and train Family Medicine residents in a collaborative team environment.
Our Sports Medicine faculty offer care for patients with sports-related injuries at high volume, multi-disciplinary sports medicine centers and treat athletes of all ages. Our physicians provide medical coverage for high school; Division 1, 2, and 3 collegiate teams; and minor league professional teams. Precepting Sports Medicine fellows is a key component of this position.
We seek a candidate board certified in Family Medicine with Fellowship Training in Sports Medicine. Proficiency in musculoskeletal ultrasound procedures is a requirement.
