Coastal Medical is seeking candidates for its Musculoskeletal Health Program. Join a highly successful expanding program.
The Coastal Medical Musculoskeletal Health Program (CMHP) provides easy access to high-quality, non-operative treatment for musculoskeletal conditions in a timely and carefully coordinated system of care with Coastal Primary Care Providers. Specific goals include improving patient quality of orthopedic care, outcomes, and communication with PCPs for our adult and pediatric populations. We partner with our patients and engage in Shared Decision-Making counseling when considering surgical referrals to our Coastal-preferred orthopedic partners.
The Coastal Musculoskeletal Health Program strives to improve the quality of care our patients receive for their musculoskeletal concerns by actively collaborating with our primary care clinicians, reducing unnecessary interventions including surgery, and optimally preparing patients for surgery when necessary. The program utilizes a patient–centered approach to managing orthopedic conditions.
Through our collaborative, in-house model, you will benefit from a constant patient referral stream from Coastal PCP’s and established relationships with the orthopedic community. You will also be provided with the support to provide the best care for your patients and maximize your professional development by utilizing virtual scribes, mobile ultrasound and centralized Coastal Medical care teams. This is a Sports Medicine/Non-Surgical position that includes care of chronic musculoskeletal conditions as well as management of overuse and acute injuries for all ages.
