The Family Medicine Residency and Sports Medicine Fellowship program at Riverside University Health System, affiliated with University of California Riverside is looking for a core faculty physician. This is an academic position where you will work with both residents and fellows in sports medicine. The Ideal candidate is board certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine and has outstanding communication skills, passionate for underserved patient population, and comfortable with teaching in clinical settings.
-Academic position: Will be employed by Riverside University Health System
-approximately 4 weeks per year (1 week at a time) of Inpatient attending for Family Medicine Residency Ward team
-30% time for Sports Medicine while working with Sports Medicine Fellowship
-Ultrasound use at our outpatient clinical sites.
Most of your clinical time will be at the RUHS outpatient clinics: Moreno Valley Community Health Center and Perris Community Health Center The Mission of the RUHS is to improve the health and well-being of their patients and communities through their dedication to exceptional and compassionate care, education, and research. The RUHS Community Health Centers are federally qualified health centers and receive federal funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Healthcare providers employed with our clinics may be eligible for federal loan repayment programs.
Riverside county is in Inland Southern California. The city was named due to proximity next to the Santa Ana River. Riverside is approximately 50 miles east of Los Angeles. It is the home of the historic Mission Inn and multiple museums.
