With 42 varsity sports and approximately 1,200 varsity student-athletes, Harvard University seeks a head team physician to oversee the care of the student-athlete population and serve as a primary care physician for Harvard University Health Services. Candidates must be graduates of a US-based residency program and board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.

• Collaborate with a highly skilled and experienced team of healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, orthopedists, and sports trainers 
• Keep abreast of primary care skills by working with a unique patient population of students, faculty, staff, and adult dependents
• Provide emergency services as a sideline physician for high-risk sports, supervise a team of athletic trainers, and help coordinate other team physicians at Harvard Athletics
• Outpatient responsibilities for acute, chronic, and preventive care as a practicing physician
