The Henry Ford Health Orthopedic Service Line and Sports Medicine Division, is seeking a fellowship trained, board certified physician to build and lead a Women’s Health Sports Medicine Program. The program will focus on the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, nutrition, bone health and injury prevention. The program will be truly comprehensive and include team members from Endocrinology, Cardiology, OB-GYN, Mental Health, Nutrition, Sports Concussion and Neurology, Physical Therapy and Orthopedic Surgery. The Sports Medicine division is the largest division within the Henry Ford Health System, utilizing an academic employed physician model with sports medicine primary care and surgical physicians in all sub-specialties supported by advanced practice providers, specialty trained nurses, physical therapists, and athletic trainers. The position is based in southeast Michigan with an opportunity to practice out of the William Clay Ford Sr. Center for Athletic Medicine and the Detroit Pistons Performance Center as well as newly constructed Royal Oak Medical Center and Plymouth Medical Center. Our established group has a strong amateur and professional community outreach presence serving high school, collegiate, and professional sports teams in the City of Detroit and surrounding metro area.
