Female Athlete Program Fellowship
The Female Athlete Program, at Boston Children's Hospital, is made up of an interdisciplinary clinical care team of physicians, surgeons, advanced practice clinicians (APCs), dietitians, and sports psychology clinicians. We belong to the Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance and have a large, interdisciplinary clinical research team. The fellowship will provide training in diagnosing, treating, and comprehensively managing the health of the female athlete. The clinician will become proficient in evaluation of the female athlete triad/relative energy deficiency in sport (RED-S), eating disorders, bone health, sports-related endocrine issues, and other female athlete-related sports medicine injuries.
