ThedaCare, a community-owned, non-profit health system, located in Northeastern Wisconsin, seeks a BC/BE Sports Medicine physician to provide full-time coverage at their brand new and state of the art Orthopedic, Spine & Pain Center in Appleton, WI.
Position Highlights:
1.0 FTE
36 Contact hours per week
3 physicians, 1 APC in SM practice
Total of 40+ physicians and APC in Ortho Surg, Sports Medicine, Pain management and PM&R
Fully Integrated Orthopedic Service line; with SM as the gateway to our business; highly collaborative atmosphere with surgeons and other specialty providers
Ability to perform Procedures like US guided diagnostics and injections; PRP; Tenex
HS Contracts with approximately 18 HS with approximate 10 in the Valley: SM team physician of at least one HS
No Hospital or ED call; Practice Call only 1:4. Call availability to HS LAT
24 pts in an 8 hr/day with some additional double booking as directed by the physician
Primary Care physician; Fellowship trained in SPORTS MEDICINE (required)
