100% Sports Medicine Opportunity in Northeast Ohio with University Hospitals Drusinsky Sports Medicine Institute! The UH SMI is seeking BC/BE physicians with FM/IM/ED primary specialty training, and CAQ/CAQE in Sports Medicine from ACGME fellowship to join the Division of Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. The selected candidate will manage all aspects of nonsurgical musculoskeletal care. The candidates will treat a wide variety of patients, from youth athletes to adult weekend warriors and patients with other degenerative/arthritic conditions. Proficiency with image-guided injections, including PRP, is required.
The UH Drusinsky SMI opened in 2017. Established Orthopedic Practice with new equipment, ultrasound-guided injections, concussion management, and biologics. There will be involvement with Professional Athletics, College Athletics, High School sports, and mass events. There will be some time spent in the Orthopedic Urgent Care Clinic along with your traditional clinic. You will be expected to work closely with the school’s athletic trainers during game coverage, develop and practice EAPs, and training room, along with your clinic responsibilities. Additional teaching opportunities with medical students, residents, and PCSM fellows if desired. Academic appointment will be offered based experience once approved.
This is a full-time employed positions with the Division of Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine.
