The Andrews Institute at Children’s Health is seeking a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician to join our team at a brand-new sports outpatient clinic in Fairview, TX. The clinic is co-located with a 4,500 square foot Andrews Institute Sports Medicine rehabilitation clinic. The position requires a fellowship trained Sports Medicine physician with a background in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, PMR, or Pediatrics.

Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat the full range of musculoskeletal injuries in both adolescents and adults
Expertise in diagnostic and ultrasound-guided procedures
Willingness and ability to represent the Andrews Institute to community partners (schools, public services, and professional sports teams)

Treating children, adolescents and adults, our multi-disciplinary team of specialists works to develop a cohesive treatment plan for each patient with the goal of successful recovery and optimal health.? The Institute includes 5 Orthopedic Surgeons, 4 Primary Care Sports Medicine Physicians, 2 Sports Neuropsychologists, 12 Advanced Practice Providers, over 30 full-time Athletic Trainers, Nurses, and a Sports Behavioral Health Therapist in the clinic alongside a team of Physical and Occupational Therapists specializing in sports and hand therapy. The clinical staff is complemented by one of the nation’s largest Athletic Trainer outreach programs and a Strength and Conditioning team in partnership with EXOS Sports Performance. The Institute has experienced exponential growth in all areas and has successfully expanded to three locations in recent years with additional expansion planned throughout the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex.
The Institute has grown to 74 formal relationships including FC Dallas, multiple large school districts, and sports organizations throughout North Texas that support a growing patient population for sports-related injuries and trauma. The Children’s Health Andrews Institute was awarded accreditation by the ACGME for Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship and plans to grow a PCSM Fellowship program.
