UHealth – University of Miami Health System and the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) are collaborating to provide world-class musculoskeletal care to patients in South Florida. Combining HSS’s world-recognized knowledge and expertise with UHealth’s outstanding orthopedic physicians and surgeons, the collaboration will bring premier orthopedic and musculoskeletal care to patients at UHealth SoLé Mia, the health system’s largest ambulatory facility being built in North Miami and set to open in fall 2025. The physician will be a member of the faculty of UHealth and will work closely with the HSS Primary Sports Medicine service through this collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding clinical care to orthopedic patients.
Teach, train, and supervise orthopedic residents, fellows, and medical students.
Contribute to and help develop clinical research within the Department of Orthopedics.
Participate in appropriate Department and School committees.
Engage in relevant departmental and hospital administrative activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
MD required
Current Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Pediatrics
Completion of a Fellowship in Primary Sports Medicine
Current CAQ in Sports Medicine
