PRINCIPAL DUTIES Leadership & Administration Provide leadership and supervision for osteopathic medical students within the IllinoisCOM. Participate as course director or co-course director for pre-clinical PCOP courses. Teaching, Curriculum Development, & Student Success Contribute to the development and delivery of an innovative, interdisciplinary Patient Centered Osteopathic Practice (PCOP) curriculum. Teach medical students using evidence-based instructional methods, including case-based learning and OMM lab supervision and table training. Develop and lead PCOP lecture and lab didactic sessions. Participate in the assessment and evaluation of pre-clinical students as needed. Support student coaching, mentoring, and professional development in academic and clinical settings. Collaborate with other faculty and clinical educators to integrate PCOP content across the curriculum. ? Service Represent the College in professional organizations and events. Assist with student recruitment and community outreach efforts. Participate in College and University committees. Support student and faculty participation in community outreach and service-learning programs. Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in medical education. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS DO or MD degree with board certification in related specialty. At least 1 year of experience in medical education, residency training, or faculty leadership.
