Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Sports Surgeon, you will join our well established, busy practice on the campus of St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Enumclaw, WA. This exciting opportunity allows you to practice in a supportive, physician-led setting with access to cutting-edge technology and a robust referral network within a regional healthcare leader. You will be joining a well-respected and busy orthopedic surgery team.
Every day you will play a vital role in enhancing the functionality and quality of life for athletes and active individuals. You will deliver comprehensive orthopedic care, with a specialized focus on orthopedic sports medicine procedures, diagnosing, treating, and managing musculoskeletal conditions for diverse patient needs. As part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, a faith-based, not-for-profit organization and proud member of CommonSpirit Health, you will be integral to a continuum of care that includes specialized services in orthopedics and rehabilitation, reflecting our unwavering commitment to excellence.
To be successful in this role, you will be a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Sports Surgeon with a strong commitment to clinical superiority and patient-centered care.
- Perform comprehensive evaluations, develop diagnostic and treatment plans for sports-related injuries.
- Conduct surgical procedures, ligament reconstructions, and joint repairs when necessary.
- Collaborate with physical therapists and athletic trainers to create rehabilitation programs and recovery plans.
- Educate patients and families about surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and preventive measures.
- Engage in community outreach and support programs aimed at promoting injury prevention.

Job Requirements Required
- MD/DO who is BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Completed an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency and a Sports Medicine Fellowship.
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in Washington
- Strong surgical skills with a focus on sports injuries and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of post-residency experience preferred, but exceptional new graduates will be considered
