South Texas Bone + Joint is the area's premier Orthopedics & Sports Medicine practice with a 50+ year history of patient care excellence. We are currently seeking a Primary Care Sports Medicine or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician to add to our twenty-nine-member orthopedic team. The physician will work closely with several board certified and fellowship-trained subspecialty surgeons, Primary Care Sports Medicine physicians, Advanced Practice Providers and Doctors of Physical Therapy.
The ideal candidate is a Primary Care Sports Medicine or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician with an interest in pursuing fellowship-training and/or subspecialty certification.
South Texas Bone + Joint and our affiliate ambulatory surgery center, the Texas Orthopedic Center of Excellence, has injection suites and advanced diagnostics including digital x-ray, ultrasound, bone densitometry, NCV/EMG testing, physical therapy and rehabilitation, and full-service laboratory services. The physician will work alongside our fellowship-trained physicians and surgeons skilled in minimally invasive surgical procedures.
Our practice is closely affiliated with the Corpus Christi Medical Center. The opportunity is a Monday through Friday position with no call coverage required and includes providing patient care in Alice, Beeville, Portland and Corpus Christi offices.
